The Old World is a grim land of peril and greed, where the suffering masses do their best to protect themselves from foul forces that would exploit and corrupt them.
But today, the Old World becomes a bit less perilous... The Errata and FAQ for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (pdf, 1.2 mb) is now available on the support page. Additionally, you'll find a card and component list (pdf, 708 kb) and a living index (pdf, 628 kb)!
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is a roleplaying game that sets unlikely heroes on the road to perilous adventure, in the grim setting of Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy world. Players will venture into the dark corners of the Empire, guided by luck and Fate, and challenge the threats that others cannot or will not face.
The living index is wonderful. Increased the downtime in the game, and has helped keep the players more interested because making decisions and finding rules is much more streamlined. Thanks FFG!
Now that is super - so fast we got all what we asked for.
Thanks! My hats off you guys for doing this, especially during the holiday season.
Your current career does determine what kind of talents you can socket. In the example you've given, since the Roadwarden career doesn't have any Focus slots, you cannot socket any Focus talents that you have acquired. It's just not the sort of thing your friend's character is focused on (hah) right now!
It's a small thing that your friend can give his focus talents to the party character sheet, but it could be worse: your group could be using a party type that doesn't have focus sockets either, making it impossible to use those talents until he switches careers again!
Knowing which of your accumulated talents you can use is definitely something to take into consideration. But no one will arrest you if you let your friend have a "do-over": just put away the advancement worksheet for the Roadwarden, refund the advances he spent on it, and let him choose a different career to switch to and advance in. Or even remain a Scout, if he prefers! Saving the advancement sheet for each career makes it easy! :)
Oh man, you guys beat me on the living index - I was already working on one :)

Thanks so much for getting all this out so quickly! Huge pat on the back.
Thank you for this FAQ, that is really helpfull.
I got a tricky question, may be someone found the awnser in the books, me not (I am not so fluent in English)
If you have been a scout, then go into a new carrer as Roadwarden, what can you do of your talent in Focus ? (except usage in the team card what seems real poor IMHO)
the scout can purchase talent in focus and tactic, the roadwarden in reputation and tactic ... and what if you goes to priest ?
thank you in advance !
