Mankind has new reasons to tremble!
The four Ruinous Powers have descended forth from their realm of chaos and madness. Following in their wake are warriors, beasts, and the dread lieutenants, the Greater Daemons. The paltry forces of the Empire shall be washed away on this river of devastation, as even their own members are rising up to join with these vile powers. How did this massive swing in the balance of power happen? Find out by watching the latest video from Fantasy Flight Studios.
Chaos in the Old World is a game like no other. Each player becomes one of the gods of Chaos, a force capable of immense power, a power which takes unique forms for each god. Khorne wades into the thick of fighting, blood is his only desire. Nurgle giggles with delight as he unleashes plague after plague upon the populace. Slaanesh enjoys every aspect of experience, deriving pleasure from pain and suffering. Behind it all, Tzeentch laughs as the followers of rival gods dance to his lies. Standing before them are the fractious forces of Dwarfs, Men, Elves, Orcs, and Skaven, yet they shall not be enough. Shed your mortal coil and become a force of Chaos. Become Chaos in the Old World!

Beautiful gameboard! Perfect chaosy look :)
I'm lucky to have a high bandwidth here at work, but a link to a smaller video or something on YouTube would be helpful for those on lower bandwidths.
On another note, the minimum three players is a bit of a pain, but it's not that unusual and I sense that the game is geared to this and wouldn't work with less.
Do we have a release date for the game yet? I know it'll go straight on my preorder list...
From what I've seen it looks like two main differences between this game and others similar are: 1) you control god instead of hero (I don't see how would it make diffrence if game is played on meta-level where it does not matter if you are man/god/whatever) 2) there are those funny wheels. This don't look innovative at all. Still - map looks nice and figures are ok. Shame it's only 3+ players.
very awesome! can't wait to play it!
I'm still waiting for the video.... (i think 65 MB is a tad excessive...)
I am so stoked for this game! Come out already!! :P
Hi there,
