Perched on that ledge night found the seeker; and in the blackness he might neither go down nor go up, but only stand and cling and shiver in that narrow place till the day came, praying to keep awake lest sleep loose his hold and send him down the dizzy miles of air to the crags and sharp rocks of the accursed valley.
- H.P. Lovecraft, Dream Quest of Unknown Kadath
This Fall, the next Asylum Pack in the Dreamlands expansion will have you clinging desperately to consciousness as the Night and its terrifying servants await in the darkness. In this expansion, the dreamers and the nightmares that haunt them come out to challenge each other once more on the plains of Leng and on the stairways to dream itself.
In the In Dread of Night Asylum Pack, the Day/Night mechanic reintroduced in this expansion deepens, creating more deckbuilding opportunities for veterans and and those new to Call of Cthulhu alike. The Night side of the Day/Night mechanic is explored further, strengthening the the forces of darkness, but also introducing subtle new tricks and traps for everyone. The tribes of Gugs and Zoogs continue to swell and the serial tale of artist Twila-Katherine Price and grifter Gregory Gry continues.
Keep your knives sharp and your wits sharper as the Dreamlands unfolds this Fall...
Based on the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft and his literary circle, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game takes two players deep into the Cthulhu Mythos where investigators clash with the Ancient Ones and Elder Gods for the fate of the world. To learn more about Call of Cthulhu, visit our minisite.
Hip hip hoorah for the Dreamer subtype!!
I hope FFG has instituted better quality control on the Dreamlands set
and avoids the many typos and such found in 'The Spawn of the Sleeper' series.
Very nice, can not wait for this!
