Dark Heresy is a roleplaying game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the grim darkness of the far future. Players take on the roles of Acolytes serving the Inquisition, rooting out heresy and corruption from within the galaxy-spanning Imperium of Man.
Tattered Fates is the first book of the Haarlock's Legacy Trilogy , a set of three epic adventures that explore the Calixis Sector.
Bought it two days ago. A little dismaying. The module is ABBYSMALL when it comes to "pages for the prize".
I only read it now, but I do not know what to think about it:
The first part (action filled) is very good in my eyes
The second (investigation)... seems okay
The final... I do not now.
All in all, the pc seem to be little more then puppets pushed around by the npc. Not for everyones taste, me would say.
Very pumped, my players are almost salivating over the whole DH game system. We are D&D refugees and have become DH converts. We have only just completed "Shades on Twilight" and are beginning the other adventure hooks from "Purge the Unclean". I just love the potential for real role playing in this system and I love the background.
A huge hug for the whole Dark Heresy writing team, the publishers and all of the support staff. I can see a huge future for this particular game, here's to the first 20 years.
