This Summer, Chapter Pack #4 in the King's Landing Series
A Game of Thrones LCG | Published 11 May 2009

In her dreams it had been immense, an endless stone maze with walls that seemed to shift and change behind her. She would find herself wandering down gloomy halls past faded tapestries... In some of the rooms the red stone walls would seem to drip blood...

- A Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire, Book One by George R.R. Martin

Tales of the Red Keep is the fourth Chapter Pack in the King’s Landing series, coming this Summer for the A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. This expansion takes the set's featured “Shadows” mechanic in new directions, with an appropriately thematic emphasis on the shadowy Red Keep setting of King’s Landing. The ever-dangerous “dancing master” Syrio Forel and the always-scheming Queen of Thorns lead up a cast of fan-favorite characters in Tales from the Red Keep.

Also introduced in this Chapter Pack is a new Agenda: “The White Book”. This agenda makes the popular Kingsguard subtheme a viable deck archetype, with emphasis on successfully-defended challenges. Will you lead the White Swords in defense of Westeros' rightful king ... whoever that may be?

I like these agendas that have a positive and a negative side (like the season agendas). Plus, getting Syrio and The Queen of Thorns is getting me very excited about this set. Cool stuff. Hopefully the first chapter come sout soon.

I would LOVE to run an LCG Kingsguard deck...sweet.  Dayne looks awesome from one of the recent past chapter packs...I wonder who else is on the horizon???

Don't get my hopes up...or better yet, DO!  :)

Heh, sweet! This means, I assume, we are going to get a slew of LCG Kingsguard. I wonder if they are all defense related special abilities or if we will see some reprints or new takes on past KG.

I used to run a sweet KG deck; won tons of local tourney...I would guestimate its official record at something like 50-10 or thereabouts...

I wonder if I should resurrect it, hehe!

I love it!

I like the new agenda. Cool artwork, and so much more interesting than the "you now need 20 power to win the game" agendas from the past.  How powerful it will be depends on how good the Kingsguard characters and support cards are, but I have high hopes for a new deck archetype!
