Due to a corrupted file, the Descent FAQ is currently down. Have no fear, it will return next week, newer and better than ever.

Any ETA on when the FAQ is getting updated with a working version?

Just to clarify, the link Lock posted (as of my writing this comment) is for the so-called corrupted FAQ, which has a date of March 10, 2009. We're still waiting on the actual updated FAQ which should have a later date.

Tough. I was checking in every day all week in hope that the updated FAQ would show up in time for our last session of the campaign(Saturday). When the dark gods failed failed to provide me with enough hero-nerfs and Avatar-fixes in time for the big battle it ended in utter defeat after 2 turns of battle.
Ah well, I hope the changes are worth waiting for... :)
