Arkham Horror Premium Figures | Published 17 January 2012

It seemed to be a sort of monster [...] of a form which only a diseased fancy could conceive. [...] A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque and scaly body with rudimentary wings; but it was the general outline of the whole which made it most shockingly frightful.
     – H.P. Lovecraft, The Call of Cthulhu

Otherworldly horrors tear at the thin fabric of reality, seeking to intrude on our dimension for their own inscrutable purposes. To look upon their terrifying forms is to risk insanity, for these shapeless beasts have a strange, almost mesmerizing beauty. Those unfortunate individuals who lay eyes on such cosmic abominations are often drawn inexplicably toward them, and into their own merciful demise.

Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce that the first wave of premium Arkham Horror Monster Figures is now available for sale through our webstore! Joining the already complete lineup of Arkham Horror Investigators, these stunning hand-painted figures will further enhance the visual impact of your favorite Lovecraftian board game. What's more, each monster's base is designed with a slot to accommodate its monster token from Arkham Horror or Mansions of Madness!

First through the gate

Wave One, the harbingers of a far greater invasion, includes eighteen blood-curdling creatures and minions with which to challenge your investigators. From the wormlike Chthonian to the axe-wielding Maniac, from the predatory Hound of Tindalos to the sanity-shattering Dunwich Horror, Arkham Horror Monster Figures will immerse you in cosmic terror.

Visit our Arkham Horror Premium Figures website to see the full lineup (you can see larger versions of each figure through our webstore). Then, place your order and bring these unholy abominations to your tabletop!

Note to Retailers: Due to the manufacturing costs of these figures, we are unable to offer this Fantasy Flight Collector product through normal distribution channels. @Dumon: MoM runs under the "Arkham Horror Files" line, so it fits. The monster chits in AH and MoM have all the vital information in the same places, so you can easily swap the MoM chit with the AH chit in the base.

Wow, Meggy, Dumon - really? I mean REALLY?

And yes, they can be easily used in Arkham. Just put the tile in the back slot.  Really. I mean people have been asking for Arkham monster figures since the base game came out and now they found a way to make them for more than one game (pretty smart).

Meggy,

Arkham works "properly." So does, Mansions, Elder Sign and the Cthulhu LCG.

The figures look great in the photos. This actually makes it harder for me to attempt to paint seeing what skilled painters can do.

I'm happy FFG still finds ways to add stuff to the Arkham line after all this time.

Really?
I mean, really?

Its nice and all, that they are called "Arkham Horror Monsters". However, the only way I can see them being used in a meaningful way is if you put the monster marker in the back, being held by the one (or possibly two) hooks there.

So they are only useful for Mansions of Madness. Nowhere else in the Arkham Horror line.
This might be misleading prospective buyers!!!!
