Immediately upon beholding this amulet we knew that we must possess it; that this treasure alone was our logical pelf from the centuried grave. Even had its outlines been unfamiliar we would have desired it, but as we looked more closely we saw that it was not wholly unfamiliar. [...] All too well did we trace the sinister lineaments [...] drawn from some obscure supernatural manifestation of the souls of those who vexed and gnawed at the dead.
– H.P. Lovecraft, The Hound
Otherworldly terrors are breaking through to our dimension, and only you and your team of intrepid investigators can gather the ancient weapons necessary to send them back to the abyss from whence they came...
Now available for iPhone and iPod touch
Elder Sign: Omens, a game for your digital device, is now available for the iPhone and iPod touch through Apple’s iTunes store (the iPad, Mac OS X, and Android versions will be available very soon)!
Elder Sign: Omens allows players to build the perfect team of up to four intrepid investigators as they work to prevent the emergence of Azathoth, the demon god of the unnamable void. His arrival will surely spell the end of human existence, but if you can use your investigators’ skills wisely, you’ll stave off destruction. All sixteen of Elder Sign’s unique investigators stand ready to face these otherworldly horrors; control any number of them in your own solo game, or “pass and play” with your friends.
To whet your appetite, we’ve put together this brief video overview. Take a look, then head to the iTunes store to start your download:

I've tried this app on the iPhone and it's great. No problems here.
But I'm wondering if it'll be made available for 3rd generation iPods as well? (Currently it's 4th gen only) Could anyone at FFG maybe shed some like on this. Thanks!
The Ipad's version is in the store!
And what happen with the Ipad version? Any news?
Well it's back up right now for android! Get it while it's up!
Purchased the game on Tuesday evening; great way to pass time on my train ride to and from work! Haven't had any issues with bugs myself.
It is not in Market right now.
Maybe they retired the app until official anouncement
Android is up!
I was just checking the Android Market at random and there it was. It said "Downloads: 0" so I might be getting the first one. :D
can't wait for the android version
In reference to my previous comment. It is possible that there were both yellow and red glyph locks in play elsewhere on the board when I tried to use Gloria, as I did not, in fact, understand that rule.
All other aspects of the game seem to be working fine on my iPhone 4 nonS.
Wow, I guess I downloaded the good version. Played 3 full games. Not a crash yet. Also, the voice is pretty darn clear in the instructional video on my phone.
let's hope for bug fixes in the near future... it is crashing every 20 minutes or so, seemingly triggered by notifications and wireless sync over iTunes. I guess it has not been tested with iOS5 then? other than that, the port is as boring as the physical version, but at least, unlike the board game it can be played while sitting on the toilets.
There's no voice on the instruction video. How do we get this fixed?
