A New Dawn 7
Fiery Dawn, the latest Warhammer: Invasion Battle Pack, is now on sale
Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game | Published 26 August 2011

Under the light of Morrslieb, the Chaos Moon, the flames roared, consuming the stout timbers of the village buildings. Though the flames were bright, the moonlight warped and leeched their color, lending a sickly greenish tinge to their light and causing them to cast strange, flickering shadows in the streets. As the winds stirred the flames, shadows moved in a strange proxy of life. If one looked close, however, one might see some of the shadows move even when the wind did not. Some of the shadows were not shadows at all.
     – From Fiery Dawn, a short story by Sam Stewart

When the small village of Swartzenholden falls to a violent raid by ungors, their attack culminates in an orgy of murder and destruction. But their excessive bloodlust catches the attention of Slaanesh, who has different plans altogether for the savage beastmen...

Fiery Dawn, the sixth and final Battle Pack in The Morrslieb Cycle for Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, is now on sale at your local retailer and on our webstore!

Blood and Fury

A 60 card expansion pack containing three copies each of 20 unique cards, Fiery Dawn brings a versatile selection of new units, tactics, and support cards to your Warhammer: Invasion deck. Fury of Aenarion is a powerful High Elf tactic that capitalizes on the power of the units in your hand. With this fearsome spell, you needn’t actually place your most potent dragons (such as Moon Dragon) in harms way to take advantage of their might.

Meanwhile, the Dark Elves continue to display their callousness towards all life with their penchant for discard effects. Bathe in the Cauldron forces an opponent to discard the top five cards in his deck, while the blood of any units lost in this way fills their ceremonial baths.

Head to your local retailer to pick up your copy of Fiery Dawn, and keep checking back for more on Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game in the coming weeks!

@ Mordechai: "With 7 cards in initial hands and just 3 Bathe in the Cauldrons played my count says 13 cards left... "

7 + 3x5 = 22 by my math. Add in 13 and you're playing with 35 card decks?

For me Bathe in the Cauldron is one of the better tatctics the DE have. Now the DE "mill" deck is quite complete to do its entry in tier1. With 7 cards in initial hands and just 3 Bathe in the Cauldrons played my count says 13 cards left... With Dark Abyss and 1-2 residual "mill" cards DE wins! No contest...

Mill now is a very dangerous deck!

@Locus: That a deck wins a tournament says nothing in itself. Not to mention in casual play I find some races quite favored. So unless one plays minmaxed tournielevel decks, there is a natural imbalance in my opinion.
And as I said, several factions need a boost, not just DE.

You do realize DE won worlds this year, right? I like them just as much as anyone but to say they need better cards seems to indicate you don't know them as well as you think you might.

The art of the HE card looks amazing.

This cycle had some nice cards, looking forward to the next one!

DE really could use some better cards. >_>;

Then again, several factions could need some help.
