It was night again ere news came. A man rode in haste from the fords, saying that a host had issued from Minas Morgul and was already drawing nigh to Osgiliath; and it had been joined by regiments from the South, Haradrim, cruel and tall. “And we have learned,” said the messenger, “that the Black Captain leads them once again.”
–Return of the King
Heroes scouting the ruins of Osgiliath make a terrifying discovery: Sauron has secretly maneuvered a large army onto Gondor’s doorstep and now threatens to overthrow it. These heroes must cross the Anduin and warn Minas Tirith before it is too late!
Play the role of one of these brave messengers at Gen Con Indy 2011 as Fantasy Flight Games proudly debuts The Massing at Osgiliath!
This new scenario for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game immerses you in the thrills and perils of Middle-earth with a four-part quest, new locations, and new enemies, including the most terrifying foe at the Dark Lord’s disposal.

Can´t wait
#4 - bah, I hate when I skim articles. Thanks for pointing that out.
First: That sounds great. Four steps instead of three!
Second: I support kilrah' s question. Could we please get some information on the availability of non english PoD or distribution through international partners?
plz be actual cards, and require only one pack for play sets
gunna hope and wait
Will this PoD be English only or multiple languages. If the first, are there any plans to release this and other PoD products with international partners at all?
Are the scenario and character cards in this event going to be paper PoD copies, or actual, honest-to-goodness cards? If they're real cards, I'll attend just to get them. Otherwise, probably not.
This is cool, but I'm more interested in support for the game. They stopped the previews dead and pushed an expansion back a month. A month ago I was very pumped about this game. I just wish they would keep us excited!
Got two tix for 9am Friday morning for me and my son. Looking forward to it.
@vermillian There are events just about on the hour throughout GenCon... Each event has 4 slots, so you and your friend can sign up for the same event to make sure you can play together. I've already got my slot reserved and paid for.
@Emrad This is for GenCon 2011, which is in 2 months, which means this will be available in 3... Still within 2011.
That is this years not next years. Gencon is only 2 months away so they need to announce it now. Normally they give 3 months lead time for any announcements.
Release the 4 packs for the Hunt for Gollum before annoucing next year's stuff xd
Awesome. So looking forward to the Witch King himself.
@ slipstream, it says right in the article available via Print on Demand one month afterwards.
