The Twilight Beckons, the debut Asylum Pack in the new Rituals of the Order cycle for Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, is now on sale at your friendly local game store and on our webstore!

The Twilight Beckons invites us on the journey of Lucy Jennings from society debutante to Silver Twilight acolyte and along the way introduces the Order of the Silver Twilight - its masters and servitors - as well as other shadowy figures from the mythos of H.P. Lovecraft.

The Twilight Beckons is a fixed 60-card Asylum Pack containing 20 different never-before-seen cards, designed to augment existing decks and add new opportunities and challenges to the Call of Cthulhu metagame.

For more on this exciting Asylum Pack, check out Marius Hartland's card previews: "A Night's Errand", "Now You See It...", "The Men Who Stare at Zoogs", "Underneath, Above, and Beyond", "Let Mi-gos be Mi-gos", "To Kingdom Come", and "Skullduggery", then, head to your friendly local retailer to begin your initiation in the Order!

Based on the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft and his literary circle, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game takes two players deep into the Cthulhu Mythos where investigators clash with the Ancient Ones and Elder Gods for the fate of the world. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Asylum Pack expansions to the core game.

I also want to thank FFG for keeping CoC on a tighter production schedule. It's good to see this cycle being released one month after the deluxe expansion rather than several months later. We may yet have more than a single deluxe expansion and asylum pack cycle per year. Fingers crossed.

Cthulhu has a glut of quality turn 4's.  Better than Ravager and Deep One Rising?  We shall see...

That seems like a pretty bodacious character. A bit expensive but a good commensurate ability along with those icons for the price. Solid.

Great art too. I was wondering when the Arkham Night art print was going to make an appearance.
