Astronomers, with a hideous appropriateness they little suspect, have named this thing "Pluto." I feel, beyond question, that it is nothing less than nighted Yuggoth – and I shiver when I try to figure out the real reason why its monstrous denizens wish it to be known in this way at this especial time. I vainly try to assure myself that these daemoniac creatures are not gradually leading up to some new policy hurtful to the earth and its normal inhabitants.

The true cosmic horror of Lovecraftian stories is not the monsters themselves, but the fact that despite great sacrifices both physical and mental, the best you can do is postponing the inevitable. Sure, you escaped Innsmouth, but that doesn’t mean that eventually the Deep Ones won’t come back to haunt you. And surely, the fact that now you’ll be confronted with the Rituals of the Order doesn’t mean that the Mi-Go will just call it a day just yet.
For those who like thematic decks, Inter-dimensional Transporter (The Twilight Beckons, F12) helps smoothing the curve a little, functioning like a flexible resource for Mi-Go cards. The initial investment can be steep, but along 2 cost Mi-Gos like Ageless Mi-Go (Secrets of Arkham, F23) or Mi-Go Caretaker (Murmurs of Evil, F33) it’s perfectly playable without losing much tempo and rewarding your dedication to the Fungi from Yuggoth from there on.
It always pays, when building a deck, to keep in mind what your turns globally are going to look like, at the very least for the first few turns. So, turn one is about the transporter, which likely functions as a redundancy option for your Priestess of Bubastis (Core Set, F123.) The Priestess isn’t a Mi-Go, so the Transporter doesn’t lose its ‘charge’ when you find a Priestess later to accelerate into a bigger Mi-Go, like Mi-Go Commander (Secrets of Arkham, F20) turn 2.
So, what more is there to do in the second turn? Well, a lot of Mi-Go cost 3 to play, and the second card I’m going to show you may help you in creating quite an explosive second turn. Taking its cue from Feeding Time (Screams from Within, F95) this new Mi-Go aids in the Shub-centric ability to grow your domains. Harvesting Mi-Go (The Twilight Beckons, F11) picks a character from your discard pile and puts it on one of your domains. That, unlike Feeding Time it’s only one character is not so much a drawback, as you’d have to put quite some effort into having 3 characters in the discard pile anyway. One is more than enough, for now.
To be truly explosive you can resource a Transient resource like Visiting Author (Core Set, F26) this turn. The ‘downside’ of having to sacrifice all Transient resources as you drain that domain becomes a bonus, as now you have a target for your harvester. This allows you to play (for example) a 3 cost Mi-Go Scout (Core Set, F129,) follow up with the Harvesting Mi-Go and place Visiting Author (or any other Transient you like using) on the third, still undrained domain for another 3 or 4 drop.
While the Inter-dimensional Transporter scores you kudos for sticking to a theme, the Harvester doesn’t really require you to stick to Mi-Go’s alone. It works well enough in any deck that expects characters to end up in the discard pile fairly quickly that is able to play it, even though it has to do without all the bonuses other Mi-Go can grant him.
But take for example Twilight Gate (Twilight Horror, F12.) It can move Harvesting Mi-Go from a resource into play, where it triggers and allows it to move another character to any domain. At the end of phase, the harvester becomes a resource again at a domain of your choosing. Such a trick can drastically change how you have arranged your domains at a moment’s notice. Just add a Zoog like Furtive Zoog (Twilight Horror, F15) to really drive home much you like to juggle resources.
Also note the compatibility with Hungry Dark Young (Core Set, F131) and you’ll have some idea on how flexible the Mi-Go toolset will become. Now that all attention goes to these ‘lodge meetings’ and rumours about something called ‘The Silver Twilight’ doesn’t mean that the Mi-Go are gone. It’s just that something draws away the attention so these Outer Ones can carry out their nefarious schemes without people nosing about. Keep watching the skies!

The cards Mi-Go previewed above are from the first asylum pack of that cycle.
