The estate hall was thronged with Dark Elves of Har Ganeth, their eyes bright and their smiles cruel and calculating. Outside the window of the estate, a fat green orb hung in the sky, leering down at the scene with an emerald radiance. Morrsleib, the chaos moon, was considered amongst some Dark Elves as an auspicious omen for launching a raid for plunder and slaves. In the center of the room, fine furnishings and slave-skin banners had been removed to make a cleared circle of marble where two brothers faced each other with drawn blades.

Meanwhile, the mighty River Troll joins the fray and Dark Elf Infiltrators invade the ranks of their enemies! With three copies each of twenty never-before-seen cards, Omens of Ruin is designed to augment existing decks and add variety to the Warhammer: Invasion metagame.

Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game is a card game by Eric M. Lang in which 2 players develop their kingdoms and lay waste to their foes. Each side is comprised of either the forces of Order or the forces of Destruction as they seek to extend their empire to include the entire Old World. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Battle Pack expansions to the core game.

The artwork just keeps getting better and better! Too bad you'd probably actually WANT this guy to die to Spite.
Not bad but lacking in the strength Destruction needs atm.
I think a Bray Shaman, and then a Blessing of Tz. after attacking gives us the most value from this unit. :)
At least usable cheap unit, what was lacking in chaos since the beggining.
To be honest a leaves play instead of enters play ability is pretty weak. Unless the battlepack comes with a support card something along the lines of: 1CC action: sac a creature, destroy a development. play this ability only once per turn. but what's the chance of that?
Yes! Wood elves awesome. My favorite army. Thanks FFG for not waiting 5 years like GW did to update them or bring spot light to them. I dropped from minis game since my army took to long to be updated. Can't wait to see mechanics for them.
You can control this effect - just use such cards like Bray Shaman or Offering of Blood.

Wow, those new cards - Ungor Raiders, hmm there will find a pleace in my Chaos deck for sure. I was missing such cards. Especialy when I was playing with friends I thought - why Chaos does not have some cards that destroy developments. And now it will have, I'm looking forward what Invasion battle packs will bring. Can't wait now for year 2011! Great job FFG, thanks!
ungor raiders are a nice card to have but no more.
i doubt this card will see daylight in many decks, since i don't like cards with effects i cant control.
it would be better if they destroyed a support card or if they corrupt one unit (which would fit more for chaos)
