Meanwhile, the release of Redemption of a Mage, the fourth Battle Pack in The Enemy Cycle, draws ever nearer. Let’s take a look at another card making its way to tabletops soon.
From a thematic standpoint, Bright Wizards are a particularly dangerous group of magic users. Their explosive attacks are almost as likely to hurt themselves and their allies as they are to damage their enemies (the self-destructive Thyrus Gorman being a great example).
Enter Friedrich Hemmler, another Bright Wizard hero whose destructive attacks inflict damage on every unit involved in the battle. With a whopping five power icons, Friedrich is among the most powerful Empire units ever, making him a powerhouse in any zone. And since he deals one damage to all attacking and defending units, he’s the bane of low-cost attackers like Crooked Teef Goblins and Spider Riders.
