Presenting video footage of FFG's GenCon WFRP seminar |
| Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay | Published 12 August 2010 | Rating | 29 votes |

The great Twin-Tailed Comet, a portent tied to both Sigmar and the Empire, has been seen in the sky. To some, it is a sign of hope. To others, the harbinger of doom. To many, this can mean only one thing: The End Times are at hand...
For all the fans of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay who weren’t able to attend our Small But Vicious Seminar at GenCon for themselves, we’re happy to present this four-part video series. Hosted by Senior RPG Designer Jay Little, the Small But Vicious Seminar discusses the current WFRP release schedule, as well as answers questions about the upcoming hardcover books and component vaults.

Part 4:
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is a roleplaying
game that sets unlikely heroes on the road to perilous adventure, in the grim setting of Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy world. Players will venture into the dark corners of the Empire, guided by luck and Fate, and challenge the threats that others cannot or will not face.
YES! I was eagerly awaiting this posting! Thanks for this, and thanks for the BEST RPG EVER!
Very exciting! This all sounds so good I may wind up having to sell off most of my other games just to have everything WFRP! The Creature Vault in particular looks great. Nice trick holding back on information about the creature cards until someone asked about them, by the way :)
Finaly, I've been waiting for this one very long. Jay - Great Work! Thank FFG nad Jay for showing all this to us.
Now I'm sure I will buy every thing that will come up for WFRP. - My Favourite RPG system!
HUGE thanks to FFG and Jay Little for making this talk available!
Very impressive videos. Jay is passionate about this game and it shows during the presentation. Thanks FFG for listening to some of the concerns out there and addressing them. I've tried a few times to run the game and had a lot of trouble. Now you've addressed all of things that I was having issues with.
Any chance we will see the Character Sheet from the Player's Guide in the near future? That would be helpful for us non-token players.
Greatest RPG ever!
Great, I guess this video answers many, if not all, questions brought at the forum.
For one side, I'm pleased to see that my Core Box is still going to hold and that I really don't need the new Player's and GM's Vaults to play the game confortably. I haven't played it a lot yet, and all the components do trick me. I'm worried I won't ever get stomach to deal with everything, right now it just seems so tiresome... Maybe it is because I didn't get time to get the right grip, and my group didn't read it, so they do depend on me to explain and check for every detail.
I do think FFG's new WHRPG brings a lot of great ideas to tell a story. It's revolutionary in really trying to make the mechanics works FOR the story, not against it. But to me it's yet to be seen if the system manages it, or the mecvhanics eat the story alive in focusing the attention of the players too much.
So I'm glad the Player's Guide will bring the option to play without all the mechanics ado. But, of course, I still worry about all the money we'll have to spend on it.
Last, I'm glad Khorne's box and the Dwarves' one are still open, because it feels we can make some suggestion on the forum. I do hope the box about war will bring rules to manage large scale battles: I love to have this options on an RPG.
Thanks for recording and posting this!
Great Seminar!!
You keep making the products, I'll keep buying the products.
Awesome...too busy gaming and I missed it!!
