Here's a suggestion, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Enough people bought WOTR CE that this probably looked like a good idea. I'm tired of people whining...
The rampant greed growing in the "gaming" industry starting with videogame companies and now with FFG is appalling.
This country is still in a recession despite what MSNBC says and they want to charge $300 for this?! Are they serious?! I understand that this set is geared towards a specific audience and not the casual game but still...
I have ZERO artistic abilities and up until now swore i would never buy a game where I would have to paint anything but I'll be damned if i pay anyone this much money to paint my figures for me.
I'll buy the regular edition and give painting the figs my best shot. They may look like complete crap but I'll show them proudly knowing I didn't spend $300!!!
Therefore you are spending $200 for FFG to paint 34 miniatures???
They are already assembled and primed - why would anyone spend this kind of money for 34 painted figures?
This is just a joke, isn't it ? $300 + s/h for the Deluxe Edition, definitively not for me. It especially sadens as I remember that it was to be pre-painted when released by Rackham...
I still wonder if FFG wants to bury the Tannhäuser licence by putting Dust so much in the spotlight. :-(
