Corrected cards for Battles of Napoleon are available
Battles of Napoleon | Published 21 July 2010

Our publishing partners at Nexus Games have informed us of a small number of errors in some unit cards for Battles of Napoleon, which become relevant when certain optional rules are used.

We have made replacement card images (pdf, 3.5 MB) available for download on our Battles of Napoleon support page. To acquire replacement cards (for North American customers), please contact our customer support via email at parts@fantasyflightgames.com. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Battles of Napoleon is a board game of strategic battles set in early 1800s Europe. Two players send orders, organize their various troops into formations, and manage their troop morale in an attempt to lead their armies to victory.

Hi Buytherules,

Yes that maybe but I support this company with hundreds of $$ worth of purchases and intend on more. As a customer I want the product that I am paying a premium price for, and am willing to pay that price while the product is good and in regards to real costs.

However this is shoddy and the customer should not have to put up with substandard product after paying for the real thing. Shipping is a pain I know but if your going to do something do it right and the business will blossom. Treat your customers unequally or with little regard and your reputation suffers, followed soon by your business.

This will not turn me away from FFG but, many straws eventually break the camels back.

Tony and Lord Mykal,

I don't want to sound harsh but at least they have provided a way to correct the problem. Our computers may be on the world wide web, but it still takes a truck to go from point A to point B. I would love to own more CNC scenery but shipping is too high to the states. I wish they offered a PDF to me. Remember its only a game, when we take it too serious we take away the fun.

Guard your flanks, Buytherules

I have to agree with Lord Mykal here

How about a set of free replacement cards? Its not my fault the originals werent any good or that I dont live in North america!

why should I spoil the look of my game with some "home made" replacement cards.............lets face it FFG, this replacement cards are never going to match the standard of the original art work.

By the way is there a problem with the download files? I cant down load them!

Oh one gripe....the price we're paying for this large game I think could allow FFG to post out replacement cards even to 'the utter most ends of the earth' ie New Zealand...pdf files is a bit cheap to say the least!

I support your business how about supporting those that are not USA based, it an't be that expensive and should not the printer pay if they were done incorrectly? otherwise if it was your mistake, take it on the chin and move on. We will if you do :-)

Picked up the game in New Zealand last month! Good work on getting that out here so quick.

Like the game and the system at this stage, but only had two games at this stage. However next time get someone who knows about Napoleonics to sort out the infantry troop types as the difference between Skirmishers-Lights, Grenadiers and Line Inf, its all arse about face . I' ve already re-organised mine into the moe approapriate figures.

Now along with my vast array of 25mm Amies I could fight even larger battles with a couple more expansion boards! How about a couple more boards with upcoming expansions FFG?!!

Keep up the good work.

I have downloaded the replacement card pdf for Battlers of Napoleon on separate browsers, but Adobe Acrobat still tells me that it is not a good file. Only four of the 23 pages have any images at all. Can someone check the pdf file. Thanks.

I have the same problem as Fred

I have the same problem as FredTGZ by the way. FFG is a great communicator. They even sent me replacement-figures for Tide of Iron. I have not the same experience with Nexus. That's why I asked for a replacement scenario booklet as well. It was totally misprinted.

Is there a possibility that Nexus/FFG gives us the opportunity to download the scenario booklet?

I haven't even seen any yet on the games shop I usually buy my games.

However, Battles of Westeros and the last Runebound expansion have already arrived...
