Announcing the BattleLore: Horrific Horde Goblin Army Pack |
| Battlelore | Published 18 March 2010 | Rating | 38 votes |

You'll also find all the appropriate Unit Summary and Specialist cards, plus Weapon Summary cards with the updated Sling rules for use with your Goblin Slinger units. In addition we've included fifteen Deployment cards for use with the Call to Arms Expansion set, which will allow you to fully customize your Goblin army and let you tailor your fighting force to the best strategic effect. Finally, a rulebook with five brand new adventures rounds out this fantastic addition to the BattleLore line.
so where is the ogres and goblins now? im not seeing them
Over a month since the anouncement, but still no sign of this in the upcoming section.
Just sloppy work from the web-people or a bad sign?
This certainly addresses a lot of the complaints people had about Battlore Vanilla being neglected in favor of Westeros.
really good news! Battlelore really does lend itself to this type of expansion, we have the core set (well a lot of us) there is terrrain (official and unofficial) and a lot of smallish specialty packs. Now with this, I can honestly say the game system is poised to hang in there for the long run, thank you FFG! Reading all the other generally positive comments on this I suppose you have had your fill of those and now want us to spend our money, and vote with our wallets. I will go out on a limb and say, that I will do just that when this one arrives, it has me excited for the possibilities of whats to come for this wonderful game.
Here here, good show continuing the Battlelore line in this way. There is a certain magic to Battlelore and its lighter feel that attracts a large and enthusiastic fanbase, if FFG can simply meet this fanbase where it lives with expansions that inspire the same excitement and have the same quality as the original game Battlelore (Epic Fantasy Adventures) will have a long and successful campaign at FFG. Anything on top of that which FFG can add will be a huge bonus!
I am thrilled that FFG is taking this route with Battlelore and not abandoning the original game. I will continue to not only purchase every Battlelore expansion, in some cases 2 of each, but will also be buying BOW. Thanks for keeping this game going!
This is awesome! I was hoping for army sets to be released for each race, along with new adventures. This is really the direction I was hoping to see with BattleLore with FFG.
Glad to see Battlelore going on - but why do I have to buy this many creatures/units, I already own (Hill giant, Earth elemantal, hordes of Goblins), only to get a few new units? That's a bit of a downer :(
This looks thoroughly excellent! I am looking forward to the expansion to the expansion with a Goblin Lore Master (plus lore spells), Goblin Heroes, treasures, & etc.
Looks great FFG - can't wait!
Cheers,
Giles.
Now thats what we all wanted! TANGIBLE support in the way of good product and FFG have shown it with supporting the army box set and CtA ! Well done FFG you show a heart and a backbone!
Now I would concur with all the other suggestions and purchase future races e.g Undead, Elves etc AND Magic that is race specific would be nice. Chariots even more impressive ;-)
Keep it up and bring it on FFG!
This is actually the first BL expansion that I really would like to pick up. I like this one a whole lot!
“…and there was much rejoicing.” This is extraordinary news. I was interested in “Battle Lore” because of its fantasy flavor. I am neither a fan of Goblins nor of Dwarves, but I had hope for more races to be released. I was drawn to the initial Giant figure only to learn after I purchased my core game that it was not available to the general public, by that time it was only on eBay for more than I could afford. I appreciate the additions that FFG has made for this game and look forward to a long and glorious future in gaming with them.
