The infamous Rogue Trader Erasmus Haarlock is set to return, and only the Inquisition stands in the way of his dark revenge...
Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Dead Stars, an adventure book for Dark Heresy!
Dead Stars is the conclusion to The Haarlock’s Legacy Trilogy, a definitive series of epic Dark Heresy adventures that began with Tattered Fates and continued with Damned Cities. Terrible threats stir amongst the worlds visited by the mysterious Rogue Trader line of Haarlock. What has been left behind threatens everything the Inquisition has worked for in the Calixis Sector.
Dead Stars takes Acolytes to the forbidden ice world of Mara and the haunted planet of Dusk, where they must make a fateful decision that affects the future of the entire Calixis Sector. Old enemies and allies join the struggle on both sides—will the Acolytes be able to survive the terrible conclusion to the Haarlock’s Legacy trilogy?
With multiple paths to success, Dead Stars offers a satisfying experience for new and veteran Dark Heresy players alike. This summer, unravel the mystery of Haarlock’s Legacy!
Dark Heresy is a roleplaying game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the grim darkness of the far future. Players take on the roles of Acolytes serving the Inquisition, rooting out heresy and corruption from within the galaxy-spanning Imperium of Man.
Alas, too late for my campaign. I would have much preferred something like Lure of the Expanse, where the entire campaign is in one book.
IT'S THE COFFEE-MAKER FROM HELL!!!
Just wanted to say, being a fan since FFG took over the Warhammer RPG lines more than a year and a half ago, that reading announcements like these reminds and reinforces my opinions about FFG. They've done an amazing job in presenting such a wonderful, atmospheric setting. You don't see these sorts of crazy, interesting scenarios and books from any other company. I'm totally looking forward to this! It sounds very epic.
Thanks! :D
*silently sobbing at the comparsion*
Yeah, it looks thicker, just like Damned Cities did when it was announced (don't forget that the picture above is not taken from the actual product).
But hey, I would be happiest if I was proved wrong! :)
Well I saw it somewhere as already released and currently out of stock, so I wouldn´t believe Amazon that much (no, I don´t want to believe). Maybe it´s just my imagination and wishful thinking but it looks thicker, 250 pages +/-
I agree with csabesz - the price of this adventure is the same as previous ones - so it will have the same no of pages. We should expect anouther 64 pages. I am afraid that this may be a little to short for two full information gazzeters (Mara and Dusk) and the detailed adventure. I would expect a general description and general information about the events unfolding.
Yes! This is good news. I do have a lot of things to tweak and change in the other two Haarlock adventures, but I still love the series.
Björn:
Considering the page count of the two earlier Haarlock books I wouldn't get my hopes too high.
Amazon lists this one as a 64-page book, and I guess this should be about right.
Looking forwards to getting this so much :D
WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!
FFG, I love you!! Finally, a complete trilogy - that's awesome! You already gave me years of intense playing, I am so grateful to you! Long live FFG!!
By the look of that picture, it's a 300hundred pager atleast! Goodie!
