The BattleLore: Dragons Expansion is now shipping to distributors!

With the sudden shock of a thunderbolt, silence fell instantly across the battlefield. The clangour of combat halted and swords stopped themselves mid-swing. Even the cries of anguish from the injured were stilled, as the mighty shadow moved to block the sunlight, and its enormous wings folded themselves gracefully closed. In that moment under the creature's baleful gaze the expectant hush almost seemed an invitation for what would come next, as the ancient red dragon reared its head in preparation, a raging inferno already visible within its fearsome jaws.

BattleLore: Dragons has just begun to ship to distributors, and will start arriving at retail stores next week. Be sure to check with your friendly local retailer for more information, and to make sure they're aware of your excitement!

BattleLore: Dragons introduces three fearsome monstrous Creatures for use in your BattleLore games – the Ice Drake, Wood Wyvern, and Fire Dragon. Also included in this boxed expansion set are Dragon Summary Cards, Breath Attack Cards, Breath Attack Tokens, four new adventures, and much more. Of course, the three spectacular Dragon figures with appropriate Creature banners are the highlight of this latest BattleLore release!

We're making the BattleLore: Dragons rules (pdf, 2.3 MB) available today so you can start preparing for their fearsome onslaught. Also, we are now offering the newest revision of the rules that pertain to using Creatures in BattleLore (pdf, 6.7 MB). These updated rules have been refined to clarify areas that have caused confusion in the past, and also to address issues of game balance. These updated rules are now the official rules for using monstrous Creatures in all BattleLore products, and will remain available on the BattleLore Support page.

Set in a world that bridges history and fantasy, BattleLore is board game that puts players in command of a vast array of miniature troops on the battlefields of medieval Europe. Using the easy-to-learn Commands and Colors system, players can wage thrilling battles without a lengthy time commitment.

I'm pretty pumped. 2nd expansion within 6 mon. Keep it comming FF!!!

I am very excited about having more creatures. The dragons will be way cool.

What's the use of new expansion, when none of the distributors has the base game of Battlelore...

Please, hurry up with the reprint!

It's great to have the updated creature rules already up, and especially nice to see FFG is keeping an eye on game balance as they release the dragons. That's a good sign for the future of BL, for sure...
