I like that they featured Ronan of the Mild as the first hero in the video. Chalk one up for his fan club finally!

I just keep thinking this would be better as a video game. It'd be cheaper, more visuals, automatic scoring, solo play, music accompaniment. Blasphemous, I know but the more I play Ticket To Ride, Caracasonne, Settlers of Catan on Xbox (with and without people), the more right it feels. Heck, my in-laws who live 1400 km away will be playing these games with us vis Xbox Live soon and with a webcam. I still play board games, but video board games are offering me (us) more these days. I'm not being trite, either, video games is a huge industry and competing with the likes of FFG. Will we see FFG games get the Xbox treatment? Discussion?

This game looks good but I think I will be sticking with Twilight Imperium. I don't really like when a  game I purchased gets replaced with a new game. There for I try to keep one game of each type with a few rare exceptions. At the moment I like Chaos in the Old World. I can see this possibly replacing that game. If I had more time I would break my personal rule, but it is hard enough as is to find the time.

Great video though. I like the new FFG logo animation.

Not bad, though I was hoping for more material on game play itself.  A worthy Christmas present, though. And who knows, we may still get the rules up tomorrow!
