“You want to be cheap, be cheap. But you want to flex your muscles? Go ahead and do it. Do it right. You’re driving one of the world’s mightiest megacorporations. You have credits like most people have red blood cells. Now, you can use it. Lock up your servers. Safe.”
–Ulrich Heiner, ice programmer and designer of Draco
What Lies Ahead adds muscle and theme to each of the seven different factions in Android: Netrunner. Its sixty new cards (three copies each of twenty different cards) intensify the game's action as each of the corps receives a new agenda and a flavorful piece of ice, perfectly tailored to its base strengths. On the other side, the runner factions launch into the ongoing cyberstruggles with new icebreakers and support cards.
Meanwhile, fans of the Anarchs and Haas-Bioroid should find the Data Pack particularly rewarding as each gains a new identity.

“Good day, Ms. Jones. The address on the table is of a client who would like to unsubscribe. Standard cancellation. Nothing too noisy, please.”
–transcript from NBN security feed
Trace Amount enables players to dabble with bold new deck configurations. The game’s runners each gain a new event while each of the corporations looks to fund new operations. Among the Data Pack's sixty new cards (three copies each of twenty individual cards), you’ll also find new hardware, resources, icebreakers, ice, agendas, assets, and upgrades. Traces, tags, and links feature prominently.
As a part of the Genesis Cycle, Trace Amount reinforces the core mechanics and personalities of the game’s seven factions, all while allowing players greater means to narrow their focus and refine their strategies. Trace Amount is a perfect Data Pack for fans of bluffing as its many events and operations open new surprises and synergies, and prove in more than one way that a card in the hand is worth two or more actions on the table.
And as one might expect, in a Data Pack all about bluffing and surprises, Jinteki features prominently, gaining a new identity.

“Last month’s ice? My friend, that tech may as well be the horse and buggy, analog recording, fossil fuels, or landline telephones. It’s a sharp new world. You need the bleeding edge or nothing!”
–H.E.G. Software Designs
The high-stakes of cybercrime in Android: Netrunner push runners and corporations to find the latest and greatest advancements in stealth and security. The sixty new cards (three copies each of twenty individual cards) in Cyber Exodus deliver. The game's seven factions find upgraded ice, new hardware for runners, new research, and ambushes. Even as the Data Pack’s new technology makes each of the factions more efficient, it also derezzes the limits of the possible:

“How do you visualize static? I see thieves prowling the net in slow-motion, their hacks disrupted, crawling down the paths we set before them. The greatest securities don’t stop these criminals and their progress but route them where we choose.”
–H.O. Murakami, Jinteki network designs
Time is relative. Time can be manipulated.
As part of the Genesis Cycle, A Study in Static focuses on developing each faction’s traditional strengths even as it opens up new strategies for players to explore.
With their advancements in ice, icebreakers, and hardware, the Data Pack’s sixty new cards (three copies each of twenty individual cards) escalate the game’s cyberstruggles to a new form of art.
No longer do the factions content themselves to building and breaking snares and subroutines; they turn their attentions to the flow of time itself. So much as time is a matter of perception and of movement, A Study in Static is a study in the ability to accelerate and impede the passage of time.

Hardware and programs drive efficiency, but talent trumps them both in Humanity’s Shadow, the fifth Data Pack in the Genesis Cycle! In the future of Android: Netrunner, humans compete for work with bioroids and clones. Business is built as much from programs and hardware as from cash and concrete. To find your way in this tech-centric world, you need to be savvy to the latest upgrades, and you need a good deal of imagination. Humanity’s Shadow gives you a chance to get your hands on both the most bleeding edge technology and the talent you need to make it sing.
With a new Criminal identity, a daring new resource, and unique sysops for the Corporations, Humanity’s Shadow profiles some of the most talented individuals pulling the strings behind the game’s cyberstruggles. New events for the Runners allow you to customize your strategies while the game’s Corporations look to increase their security with a more hands-on approach based upon new operations, talented sysops, traces, and traps.

As the Genesis Cycle draws to a close, the cyberstruggles of Android: Netrunner escalate to the brink of full-scale war in Future Proof, the cycle's sixth and final Data Pack! Runners have used their new ice and upgraded hardware to launch series after series of runs, and Corps have respond by channeling funds into the development of new ice and server upgrades. In a world where the next, stronger piece of ice or game-changing icebreaker is just several lines of code away, what technologies and strategies can truly stand the test of time?
Future Proof concludes the Genesis Cycle with sixty new cards (three copies each of twenty different cards) that balance the latest upgrades in software with a renewed focus on resources in the meat world.
In addition to their innovative new icebreakers, the game’s Runners get new resources and events while the Corporations focus on bolstering their servers and developing assets designed for open hostilities. When tricks, traps, and roadblocks don’t serve as sufficient deterrents, some Corporations will meet the Runners with swords in hand, ready for virtual duels.
