The next region board should be the Forest.
A place where spirits are living, and a lot of animals, fairies, and other forest creatures.
I think it should be a middle level board. The same as the highland,
I hope that we get a Barbarian character in the next expansion.
A sort of Conan theme, with berserkers, evil mages,dark knights on horses etc :)

Ok for the evil mages, they often show up in Conan novels, but what do you think about
1) some Events/Strangers/Places that make you lose Spells or punish you for having Spells (something like lose 1 Life if you have at least 1 Spell, just as a Storm Caller for Armour)
2) some Object/Followers that protect you from Spells and/or prevent you from casting Spells?
3) some additional "counterspells"?
Not that I'm saying that mages and warlocks are less powerful in a Conan-like setting, but they usually get crushed by "brutish" characters like the Barbarian.
A wizard is never too late. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

Now that we have the City expansion, everyone can become a wizard if they buy spell books, and they can sell their spells too.
1) events such as magical vortex is always welcome so that players can;t hold the spell cards too long in their hand.
A stranger that let you lose 1 life if you have a spell is a nice idea :)
2) I am thinking about a object (trinket) that prevent you against one spell for one use. I think that's fair enough.
Maybe it can be included in the forest expansion, because it's a magical place with spirits etc
3) To be honest, i don;t like to see the counterspells again.

I'd prefer a Forest to a Graveyard, if only because a Graveyard would marginally favour evil characters, whereas the original Talisman game had a very slight bias towards good characters.

I like the idea of a Necropolis alot. As the 4th corner.
If they do a Space and/or Timescape expansion… maybe it could go on any corner. For people like me that don't use Highlands.
That said, what I would really like is a small box expansion that was half new and half old. By that I mean, half the stuff in it is additional stuff already out there in other expansions. The stuff that people really like, the useful stuff, so we could have more than 1 of some things in our deck. However I don't want to have to buy multiples of other expansions.
New stuff.
In other words I want a Hodge Podge expansion.

If they did a Necropolis they could add a bunch of Adventure Cards that aid good and/or hurt evil… then evil would want to stay in the necropolis region because the Outer/Inner region would clearly favor good. That could be an interesting alteration to the game.

I think it is more likely that a Necropolis would be like the Blood Moon Expansion; a small set - - but with lotz, LOTZ of cards like that one has.
As I've been on this board, I've come to realise that the 'balance' aspects of gaming in Talisman are pretty darn important. So I don't know if they could or would make the Necropolis too much like Blood Moon in other respects. FFG wouldn't put lunar events in this or other sets because there are folks who haven't and won't buy the Blood Moon, so that just wouldn't work. A future large or small set might not interface with a previous set like FrostMarch due to the same reason.
But a Necropolis small set could have its own dark themes and not rely on Blood Moon memes. So perhaps Zombies and walking Skeletons should be a big part. Some while ago there was mention of a Master Evil Lich; this would work.
I suppose to have real drawing power - and value, there should be at least one concept, or enhanced concept that is very important to Necropolis.
This should be a true, new way of using Dark and Light fate. I've seen a number of posters and posts, ideas etc that indicate 'paying' dark or light for various actions or situations, but I think this misses the mark.
The payment of either side of Fate should be marked somehow, and when a threshold is reached, a consequence must occur.
Gonna go crazy here (well as crazy as a 57 year old gets!)
Necropolis advances the idea of alignments, fate and DEDICATION to Gods, either evil, good, or indifferent to the fate of mortals in the land of Talisman.
Whenever any player lands for the first time on 'their' spot to pray (graveyard-evil, chapel-good) they either can or cannot 'dedicate' to their respective Gods (Neutrals can pick, but you can only hold one dedication at a time). Once you are dedicated, every time you pay a Fate you must place it, appropriate side based on your dedication or choose, on your playing area (or a new card in your area like quest or quest-reward cards?).
Let's say the threshold number is 3. ONce three Fate of either dark or light is paid, the threshold comes due. What could that be? ( I could go a number of ways or have them all even).
Possibly new decks, like the Dragon decks with differing encounter cards for each alignment (again neutrals pick their poison ). Like the Dragon cards there are cool objects or places, etc, but there are a lot of bad things too.
Another idea would be that you inherit a new ability or one time opportunities (luck!). Light side threshold: When you land at the Castle, roll a die: 1) you get an immediate extra turn. 2) Get a gold/extra gold (turning in Prince/ss), 3) gain a life. 4) take a purchase card or a stable card. 5) take a Quest reward card at random. 6) You do not have to turn in the Prince/ss at the Castle, instead they are your permanant compansion (unless other affects, spells abilities) and you heal 1 life automatically at any 'good' place you can pray at.
Whew. got myself going there. Well I have my own other ideas for Dark rewards, and I see different ways of doing this; reward decks or die rolls as indicated. I'll leave Dark Die Roll effects for someone else to speculate on?

I think the next corner expansion should be the forest simply to balance with the Highlands corner and also to keep the classic Talisman expansions line.Then the next big expansions if there's any,should be in the same vein as the Dragon's one but with different mechanics.I'd like to see a Vampire's Tower or castle as a small board to replace the inner region.On one side the castle and the other a gothic horror world or Necropolis,etc.We'd have our fix of zombies,skeletons,gargoyles,etc….and vampires of course.The Vampire Hunter needs to kill some…Anyway,after all the corners expansions are done,any small board to replace the inner region with new mechanics or epic bosses or both would be great.

Im hoping for more anti-magic here too and also lots of enemies, the world is too easy on the players at the moment imo.
Maybe something like an outbreak from the underworld, monsters and perhaps dwarfes? A playable dwarf ..priest? Fits kinda nice with anti-magic too, dwarves dont really like that stuff now do they?
Id also like another death/werewolf kina figure that targets high lvl players (increasing chance of encounter with higher lvl, moves wheh gaining craft/strength, worse outcome the better you are etc) to push players to make more risky moves towards the coc. At the moment I find myself and most others to wait until you're really sure on winning against a srt/cra 12/12.
As for expansions after the next small, large and possibly another small box im really hoping for a large box that complements every other box. Something like "Talisman the Grand quest"
-One box that can hold all the cards!
-Extra cards both the base game and all the corners that ties them toghether, I really like the day/night feature but there is no day/night cards for the corners.
-Replacement cards that converts objects from pre-highlands to trinkets. I mean come on, how the f*** should a four leaf clover not be a trinket :D
-More endings and printed danse macabre and original ending
-Printed and summarized faq
