As fun as it would be to play as a comissar. and as much as i would love to play one. i personaly think it sould be left to the GM to run a NPC comissar, that way no one player could abuse the power of the commisant. Or if not that at least limit it to one per group.

I guess it depends on the maturity of your group really and how they get along. Otherwise, no one should play the squad leader in Deathwatch, the Inquisitor in Dark Heresy, or the Rogue Trader in Rogue Trader by that line of thinking, but you are probbaly right it shoudl be down to one in a group unless the game concept involves multiple Commissars and you are in some sort of special Commisarial detachment in the unit.

I would want to be the bad ass, "cool guys don't look at explosions", neck snapping, demolition man who runs around slinging both a hot-shot lasgun and a plasma pistol at the same time. Somewhere during each mission, my character finds a new woman in distress who I rescued and eventually get into some life-or-death stunt situation. Almost like Bruce Willis in the first Die Hard, before he was jumping on plains. I want to be repelling down tall buildings, shooting in windows, while pushing C4 down an elevator shaft.
So I guess I would be a Storm Trooper at some point.
Staff Sgt. Rad Heroman - Catachan born!
A Storm Trooper who has a rare belief in a benevolent God-Emperor. He'll have plenty of bionics.
An Enginseer with a demented love of fast vehicles.
I've converted Dark Heresy to the Only War system. Please take a look!
