Im just working on another set I call Underworld

Danger Sense / Wasn't Me!

Alley'wise / We are wanted men ...

Nice and Silently / Violent Response

I was also thinking if poisoning should be handled via an action card or not, what do you guys think?  Maybe something like 'A Bitter Taste / Poisoned Blade'

Anyone got any other ideas for some Underworld-centric actions?

If the PCs were heavily involved in secret organizations such as secret criminal gangs, maybe action card that leveraged their membership for personal gain would appeal.  Though some might work better as talents.

-"Brinkmanship"

-"Black market contacts"

-"Close Ranks"

-"Business is business"

-"Don't leave town"

-"Talk to my people"

-"Poisoned Chalice"

-"Sleeps with the Reik Eels"

-"I know a guy..."

-"Patron"

-"I ain't asking"

-"Layers upon layers/wheels within wheels"

-"Everyone has a secret"

-"A finger in every pie"

-"Turf war"

-"Preferential treatment"

-"Stone Cold Killer"

-"Keep friends close.../...And enemies closer"

-"make a problem just go away"

Nice ideas ... what would those do??

Anyway I finished 3 new cards for my Underworld idea ... thought I would post one at a time as teasers

Any comments would be highly appreciated ? possitive or negative ...

I am not experienced enough to say anything about the mechanics, my players tend to take the path of the sword too often, but thematically I like the card a lot.

The Book of the Asur: a High Elves fan supplement for WFRP 3rd ed.

Secrets of the Anvil: a Runecrafting fan supplement for WFRP 3rd ed.

Libro Monstra: A fan made creature guide

Denizens of the Old World: A fan made resurce of NPCs

The Dark Side: a fan supplement for Witches, Warlocks & Magisters in WFRP 3rd ed.

 next Underworld card ...

my revised version of a card allowing a stealthy person to take out an unsuspecting opponent, which you have managed to sneak up upon, 'Nice and Silently' (not one striking necessarily) .... and an alternative response to someone trying to intimidate you ;)

thoughts anyone?? - ofcause all these cards are as much tongue in cheek as they are meant as serious suggestions ...

Great :) Cinematic.

Nice and quiet is pretty powerful, might be worth comparing to other stealth/criminal cards. I think there might be a backstab style card in Lure of Power, will check tonight.

Often sudden violent displays from criminals are for the benefit of third parties, maybe an additional effect for "Violent Response": sigmar's comet allows you to influence associates of the target present.

You mean I have to actually  do some work and come up with how on earth "Layers upon layers/wheels within wheels" works? ;)

I like how modest the success of "We are wanted men" is yet the secondary effects are pretty powerful.

Im glad you like my ideas ... my interpretation of 'We are wanted men...' (was just inspired by that phrase from Starwars  ) is that its kinda a crappy intimidate influence card - but a great card for seeing if I can intimidate them and failing that ...well kick their ass!! (or just as an opener for kicking their ass...)

Anyway - here is the final Underworld card I prepared so far ... - comments are as always welcome !!?

I couldnt really find a good picture depicting danger sense or ... so ended up just going for the universal Ranald (good luck) symbol ...

Edit: mmm perhaps Danger Sense should really have intuition as prerequisite ... what do u guys think?

Hmm starting to feel like Im almost trolling this thread - since its almost only me who post here ... anyway, just for the fun of it I made yet another new tribute career... would love to get some comments?

This time I was joking with a friend about the unfairness of the War Dancer being the only career with the 'Ritual Dancer' trait, still Im sure FFG has an intermediate and an advanced War Dancer in the making I decided to offer an alternative career branch - also open to other races ... hope you like it ! if nothing else maybe you will enjoy the picture

Comments??

Want a comment?

Here you have one:

Your work is really nice, and it does not go ignored, I am downloading all your work, just in case I may use it some day. But (there is always a but) I would love to see the back side of the careers, the one with the description, background and flavour ;)

With respect to description and flavortext, well aside from what you see I havent actually created any - so you (or anyone else) would be more than welcome to post their suggestions for descriptions, backgrounds and typical trappings ??

btw. if you have any suggestions for cards, careers or something you would like to see - let me know ...and I can try to see what I can come up with!?

I love this stuff!

The Noble Brat stuff made me think of the movie Your Highness.  Courtney the man-servant would be a great inspiration for the small but viscious dog replacement!
