Questions for demo scenario
Published on 03 December 2008 - 18:09:59

I am considering writing a demo scenario for Anima called Tears of Vikyris. It will be playable in 3-4 hours and will contain all that is needed to play it including a setting summary and simplified rules. I have done similar scenarios for CthulhuTech (http://www.portalseeker.com/misc/ctech.htm), Blue Rose (http://64.17.155.164/gr_files/blue_rose_frog_princess.pdf) and True20 (http://www.sdc.rpg.net.nz/files/2007/UltimateChallengeTeaGarden.pdf).

Anyway, I am getting my copy of Anima for Christmas. Though I have a reasonable knowledge of the game, I don't know the details. So I have some specific questions arising from my prospective story and it would be very helpful if they could be answered before then. They are:

1. From the artwork , it appears that there are angel and demon-like beings in the setting.  Is this true and can they be PCs? From what I have read, the setting includes Christian concepts so I assume that these beings are at least partially similar in concept.

2. Is it possible to have offspring from human and angel/demon pairings? Actually, the more pertinent question is there anything in the rules as written to prevent such offspring?

3. Is it possible for a PC to change their appearance and mask their true nature, say an angel-like being seeming human for lengthy periods of time?.

4. Is there a calender? If so, what is the current year?

Thanks in advance.

Would either of you please post a link to the topic on the Edge English board?  I'm a total newbie to Anima, and this sounds enlightening.

Thanks,

Gattila

In fact that board is better than here... because it's bigger. It has been active since a lot of time, a lot of questions have already been answered and you will find a lot of interesting things, as creatures, invocations, PC/NPC, etc.

Thanks, Ysalaine.  I joined EdgeEnt.  I have some experience with Spanish and French, too.
