Penguins stack easily?

I was considering buying the game, but I was concerned that the penguins might not stack so easily, or might be difficult for young hands. I was hoping somebody who had the game may be able to help me out.

I am afraid to say my set of Penguins fit together so poorly that the whole game was unplayable. I love FFG's, but man, this game was the most disappointing gaming purchase I have ever made.
