Bad times have hit the experimental gnomish submarine Red November
A few weeks ago, a french nuclear sub and an english one nearly crashed one against the other in the Atlantic. This is an event we forgot to add in the game - collision with another submarine.
Anyway, English subs don't seem to be much safer than russian ones, and if they don't have vodka, they have beer :

Perhaps the English subs would have Mead, while the French would stock wine? But would they be staffed by gnomes? That is the question. (questions?)
I would think that the lack of alcohol would make it safer.
