Doubtful, especially if the printer is overseas (as is frequently the case).

Taking into account overseas shipping and delays, I still think we'll be seeing this in May.

Let's compromise:

April.

April seems reasonable, assuming no delays. Hopefully it will be on the boat early to mid-March. (crosses fingers)

I'm actually half-hoping for a May 4th release.  It just feels appropriate somehow. reir

Given what I've seen of progress updates from various RPG companies and imagining the volume of books being printed (there was a huge demand for the Beta books, and the Beginner Box sold out pretty quick as well, so FFG is bound to have a pretty hefty print run in the hopes of meeting the apparent demand for their new Star Wars RPG), as well as then getting those books out to distributors and then out to retailers…

These books making off the boat and into the states anytime in March is probably optimistic.

I don't know if anyone tracked the Beginner Box and how long it took to go from "at the printers" to "available now"?  That'll probably be a good indicator of how long it'll talke for the EotE corebook to be available.

If there was a SW Celebration this year, I'd say that would be a pretty good bet as to when we'd see the book.  I know WotC aimed for that with the first print run of their Saga Edition system, but sadly the shipping company they used didn't come through on the requested delivery time, and so they only had a very limited supply for that year's SW Celebration.

There is a SW Celebration this year, in Essen Germany, late July though - I think we'll see it before that.

I'm still hoping for April mono

Strange - round my way, we say 'March 1st be with you…'

I agree with you (I would say "nigh impossible" rather than "optimistic").

I was saying hopefully March for getting on to the boat. Then a 5-6 week trip from there.

My friends and I are guessing it'll be at the end of Q2, ie, June. Seeing how the Wave 2 X-Wings got bumped to March from February and they've got one Force Pack per month starting in March also, we're guessing they want to spread the Star Wars out a little more. I certainly WISH it was earlier, but their quarterly estimates tend to run towards the later part.
