Yeah, that is a hell of a deal.
Went ahead and placed my order, and included the GM Kit as well as the Falcon and Slave I models for X-Wing to boot.
Granted, i won't get the models until the ships are in, but I'm cool with waiting a bit given the savings involved.

Cool Stuff Inc is over 33% off retail (especially if you are a regular customer since you get added discounts at checkout). they are also about 20% cheaper than FRP.

kick ass….FLGS for me. I will be preordering tomorrow!
Dont care for online discounters…
For those thinking the pre-order means we are getting it in April, don't get your hopes up. It's officialy been announced 2nd quarter, which means April through June. So, we are now seeing pre-order advertisements trying to get your business early on by announcing availability in April. That's tentative, you still may not get it until June.
I'm also a supporter of my FLGS even if it costs more time and money to get it there. I can afford it and don't want to see real stores further increase their rarity rating.

I understand that. FRP sometimes is right and sometimes are wrong on their preorders. IF they are right and it's a big IF it would mean the latest we could see it would be May if it's released the last day of April. FRP preorder dates are when they expect to have the product. Again they are not always right. If they are wrong then it could be any time in the Q2.
I've little doubt that I'll be buying a copy from my FLGS as well. Given the amount of wear and tear that my SWSE corebook saw, I don't mind having two copies of the EotE corebook on hand, particularly since, like Sturn, I'm in a stable enough position financially to do so.
Alternatively, the second copy may very well end up being a gift for a dear friend who's not in such a secure fiscal position.

Miniature Market has 'em up now too, prices look to be the same as Cool Stuff.
Why… are these boards… so… slooooooow?

I can't resist…. Can I be your friend? ;)
In all seriousness, though, I know I'm going to buy a copy, I just don't know if it will be from my FLGS or online. It all depends on how much they charge for it.

I think I'll have to wait till my FLGS gets it, as living in Canada, the US sites gouge me on shipping.

I plan to preorder my copy on Monday after I get off work. Plan to order my copy from Minture Market.
Thanks for letting us know it is available for pre-order. One of the GM kit, two core books, and five packs of dice should do the trick.
Now the waiting is the hardest part…
A captain's goal is simple: Get a ship, find a crew, find a job, keep flying. …there is no try.
That's one thing I absolutely love about living in St. Louis… I can buy RPG supplies at a great price from Miniature Market, and I do it guilt-free because Miniature Market is my FLGS. (Their brick-and-mortar staff members are all pretty awesome.)
I'll definitely be going to Miniature Market for the pre-orders.
