The short and sweet report.
Little Shop of Magic
Las Vegas, NV
12 players (6 Rebel, 6 Imperial)
My list:
Luke + Swarm Tactics
Dutch + Ion Cannon
Rookie Pilot x2
Round 1:Vs Rebels
His list: Luke / Wedge / Biggs
I lost Luke in first volley.
His dice were hot; mine were not.
Game ended with his Luke and my Rookie. He won.
My record (0-1)
Round 2: Vs. Imperials
His list: Maarek / 5x TIEs
He was new and just learning the dials.
I dropped 2 TIEs in first volley.
After losing only 1 Rookie, I cleaned up the board. (79 points left)
My record (1-1)
Round 3: Vs Imperials
His list: Vader, Mithel, Dark Curse, Night Beast, Obsidian
Vader gets ioned, letting me park in front of him and shoot him down early.
Some graceful maneuvers were had, but Luke dodged like a champ.
I won without losing a ship.
My record (2-1)
Rebels took top 3 spots. I got 3rd and took home an A-Wing.
The guy that beat me took Imperials in the final and mopped the floor with his opponent (all 3 ships remaining - 2 hits on each Interceptor and some shields gone on the Firespray).
