[Pasadena, CA] Kessel Run - Saturday, December 15th
Published on 30 November 2012 - 17:23:47

Game Empire Pasadena is hosting one of the few, exclusive Kessel Run tournaments for the Star Wars: X-Wing miniatures game!

The Wave II ships have been delayed, but we have a limited number of them to present at prizes for this event. Top four players, in order, will get to pick from the four new ships: Millennium Falcon, Slave I, A-Wing, or Tie Interceptor. Here's what you need to know…

- Saturday, December 15th.

- Sign up starting at 12:00 noon, rounds start at 1:00 PM.

- Entry fee: $10.

- 100 pt. lists, one faction.

- Swiss rounds based on attendance, cut to top 4.

- Final 4 play their matches with the new ships only (one big, two small).

It's in eight days, folks! Everything we get past the cost of the kit goes right back into prizes! It's going to be awesome!

Our Kessel in Pasadena is under way right now. 10 players showed up, split even Imperial/Rebel. 3 Rebel / 2 Imperial in the winners bracket after round one (they are in their second round matches now). Lots of Vaders, Wegdes, and Biggs. Empire vs Empire games are a confusing mess to watch. We are running 75 min rounds and most people are hitting that mark within a couple minutes. I think that will speed up as people get more comfortable with their first competitive play experience.
