Mods on Hardware
Published on 15 November 2012 - 04:51:05

Anyone know if there's a limit on putting the same mod onto a single piece of Runner Hardware? My opponent did this last night, but she wasn't sure if she was allowed, and I told her I just assumed she could. We didn't want to waste time looking it up last night, and I can't seem to find anything prohibiting it. Did I just miss something or was this played correctly?
Thanks in advance!

If the rules don't say you can't and the cards themselves don't prohibit it then go crazy.

Can you list the exact cards that were involved? That would help give an accurate answer.

Well I don't remember exactly, but she was playing Shaper so the only mod that makes sense is The Personal Touch (Install The Personal Touch only on an icebreaker. Host icebreaker has +1 strength.) and I'm pretty sure that she wanted to play it twice on one of her icebreakers.

Again I didn't see anything wrong with it so we let it play, but I was just curious if there was a rule prohibiting it that I'd missed.  From the sounds of it, there is not.

Thanks guys!

That's correct, you can host as many cards as you want on a single card.
