Hey Guys Hum1l1ation here. Ive been gaming for a long time and enjoyed games like shadowrun and all but never really heard of Android until now…any tips on where to start and the likes…i was thinking netrunner but again your tips and comments are appreciated big time

Well, it's not out yet, but Netrunner will almost undoubtably be the best Android universe game once it's released. I've heard Infiltration is fairly good too, but haven't heard that much about the original Android game.
Without Signature
Android introduced a lot in terms of setting but it just didn't exploit the full potential of it, which is admittedly a tall order for a single game. As an introduction to New Angeles it was fine; there were hooks here and there to keep you intrigued but, again, nothing fully realised and only better examined in the books.
There are significant elements that make this stand apart from your typical cyberpunk setting, the two main ones being:
Whilst Android was a decent glimpse at this gleaming-yet-tarnished future, the setting will continue to go from strength to strength with further releases. If you'd like to know more, definitely read the books available. Compared to the world's depicted in Shadowrun or Neuromancer, it doesn't feel as gritty or grimy, which may or may not appeal. The way I see the world in Android is that humanity as a whole is still riding the crest of this new age of prosperity- that doesn't mean that cracks aren't already forming in this purported utopia however..
