Insanity Points
Published on 20 January 2013 - 20:46:55

I think I brought up in the BETA testing once or twice but I haven't seen any differance in the final document.
In all the Books save for BC (which doesn't use Insanity) most Insanity Points are gained from the Shock Table.
Since c/p the Shock Table from BC you cannot get any Insanity Points in Combat.
The text however states otherwise.

I ruled we use the Shock Table from Rogue Trader, which is pretty simular.
Your opinion?

You're right that the table doesn't have any options where you gain Insanity Points.

However, page 305 states that players gain +1d5 Insanity Points when failing a non-combat fear test by three or more degrees of success. I think you're right -  the intention was to keep the Black Crusade table, but to add in the Insanity Point kickers.

I think I'll keep the BC table but just add in the IP kickers on the relevant tiers from Dark Heresy.
