Important Question…
Published on 01 December 2012 - 04:26:06

Hello,

I am a [normally] competitve gamer who wants to give LotR a try. This plan is founded on my desire to get my girlfriend into more games, and I figure that a co-op game is perfect for getting her to appreciate games more. So my question for you is this: Should I purchase LotR LCG to get my girlfriend involved in gaming with me, or would another co-op game be better suited to that? (a little context: my girlfriend has played and enjoys Ascention, along with a few with other games, and she is gradually becoming exposed to more difficult games)

Thank you for your time. :)

(not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but this seemed to be the best option)

If she likes deckbuilding or at least the Lord Of The Rings theme, I'd say go for it. Otherwise I'm not saying don't but it might not be as easy getting her into it. I sometimes play with my sister who's not much of a gamer and though she enjoyed building her deck and playing the first two quests with me she's not exactly passionate about it.
