Sorry, I cannot recall the adventure card, but while playing the Cthulhu campaign, I got stuck in an adventure. I was on the second part of the campaign, making very good progress -- I had almost all of the necessary investigation tokens and was playing an adventure that contained one of the (forget what they're called) symbols that allows you to free up the three glyphs when taking on Cthulhu. I beat the adventure, but it never took me back to the map. The book you tap to roll the dice disappeared, and there was nothing I could do to continue other than manually fail the adventure, which I ended up doing after a few minutes of noodling around. Unfortunately, that led to a chain of negative events and I lost the campaign…again.
