Crashes EVERY TIME I try to launch the map or hud tutorial...

I'm running on iOS 5. I've got the game installed on my iPhone 3GS, iPad, and my wife's iPad 2. No matter which version I use, when I try to launch the map or HUD tutorial video, the game crashes.
Now, I certainly have complaints about how crappy iOS 5 runs on older-gen Apple devices, but I don't feel like that's the issue here since I tried it on an iPad 2 with no success.
What's the deal, FFG?

I was having a lot of crashes... rebooted my cellphone and it works fine now
