0k we have a conversion kit to convert 1st edition to second edition will we see second to 1st edition conversions for heros and monsters in the kit as well

as that would mean the second edition stuff is almost a expansion for 1st as well then

 To my knowledge they have not announced anything like this, although if they don't, I'm sure that fans will.

I do hope 1e gets its answers for the FAQ project, though.  It would just be mean to leave them hanging after all that effort.

It is not in their financial interest to do that.

Agreed. Why back both your new product and your out-of-print one too? Plus, it would defeat as well the retired errata for Descent 1e. If there were any questions about 2e to 1e official conversians, theoretically they'd fall on deaf ears.

By the way, 2e is really amazing if you are having doubts. I am glad I waited till now to begin pulling out my 1e to convert over to 2e, making new friends playing and enjoying Descent in a timely manner so much easier.
