I noticed all starters and single ships come with proof of purchases included in the packaging. Has FFG utilized proof of purchases in the past for promotional offers?

I'm really not sure, but perhaps I can utilyze mine when I send an email asking to exchange one of my TIE fighters for another (mine is tilted and my OCD won't let me stop looking at it)

haha indeed I am not! I just need to schedule a day where I just call customer support for all the little OCD problems I have with products I buy.

That proof of purchase thing has been in all the FFG games with cardboard parts I bought in the past. I always throw them away

You should keep them in a fire proof safe for insurance purposes. Though, if your place burns up I doubt your X-wing minis will be the things you miss most.
