Laugh all you want! Dead serious. If FFG can't yet send the 'acoutrements,' well okay; but send me an X-Wing. While you're at it, send me a WoW fighter; don't care which one, so long as it's a 'standard' size. A Mustang or Zero or something.
I'll do a physical analysis, with photos, comparing the X-Wing to the WoW fighter and to the comparable X-Wing from Hasbro Titanium, Micro Machines, WotC's Starship Battles and F-Toys (all of which I have). I'll calculate the scale of each, and provide a description/analysis of the FFG ship's construction, decoration & materials. I'm not the "go-to guy" for rules or gameplay, but I am pretty good at this sort of thing. And you won't even have to give any secrets away.
Might even stir some excitement again.
