gunners vs death dealer

i dont see the advantage of using death dealers since gunner cost less and which extra ulg is good
is there something im not noticing why death dealers are better?

The Death Dealers have a .30 Cal Victory MG instead of one UGL and M1 rifle.
The Victory gives you one more die vs S2 and a shot on Aircraft 1 & 2.
The Death Dealers are a better option if you need to stay at range or need a little more AA.
