Hey Farvo! Can you answer this question for me? What units can i take for a defense platoon and what are the sections like?

The book wasn't on the Esdevium Games (main UK distributor) New Release pdf for the week beginning July 30th. That means the UK won't get it until August 7th or 8th at the earliest.

I hope it won't take too long for Zverograd to show up here.

Always up for a game of Dust Warfare & Tactics. If you're in the London, UK area, gimme a shout!

Well, the first section has the three squads Battle, Close combat, and Rifle. After that it switches so that only 3 of each unit is allowed so the next one is Battle, CC, Auxiliary(Chinese). And each section excludes one of the original three and replaces it with the aux squad.

I don't know how much I'm supposed to post and if FF will yell at me.

This army yells hordes of units. Each squad including the aux includes grenades which can do hell to a tank but with 6" range you'll have to get close.

I think my friend and I have been theory crafting and a great army could actually use like 12 sections of units and one Attack helicopter and be very good. I even wanted to tell him to exclude the helicopter.

thanks Farvo. If you could answer one last question though would be great. Iwill be getting a Command squad, CC squad, Battle squad, and a walker how much AP would that be about?

AP cost of those units (in the order you mentioned them) - 25, 21, 20, and 30-35ish irc. Don't have the book handy to be 100% sure on those, but you're looking at very close to 100 AP give or take 5-10. It depends on which Walker. I'm certain of the AP cost on the two infantry squads, and fairly certain on the Command and KVs.

Anytime. I double-checked, and the Command Squad is 25, so I was right on everything for the most part. The KV-47s 30 AP for two of them, with the B-model Natasha (Dual 45mm Howitzer armament) coming in at 40. So highest AP combo will be 106 with Natasha. If you use A or C model KV-47, you'll come in at 96 AP.

Ok then ill be making it in at 106 AP. Natasha is the one i think will be most effective for anti tank.

Depends on the terrain and the opponent. If you're going up against Allies in light terrain, sure. If you're going up against Axis in light terrain, won't matter, they'll own your Walker. In heavy terrain, take one of the other two and murder them.
