I love it!  Obviously the Vril tech allowed the Axis to develop the walkers and advanced weaponry.  How did the Allied and SSU gain the ability to create it, considering the Allies have 'gen 1' and the Axis has 'gen 3'?

The priest had stolen the plans for a Gunther walker and gave it to Joe and his Elite Squad. They also took some legs from a German walker that was destroyed and added them to a tank and this tank was designated the Mickey after one of Joe's squeezes that had been killed during this mission. She was a mechanic.

All of this is in the comic called Dust Wars. You can get the TPB from Amazon, Barnes & Noble online. Also has alot of scetches in the back of Japanese walkers hero and troops.

 Excellent.  A trade paperback.

I thought I had missed it.

They are missing a trick if they don't go the 'Mars Attacks' way and bring out a Tom Jones Hero pack!

I like where your head is at, but Tom Jones would be a bit too young at this point in history.

So far the only thing that has ever been shown for the Vril modelwise  was an earlier model designed by Kalamity. Its called the Hecaton. It was an earlier design done a few years ago but Im hoping they stay close to the aesthetics.

There was also a pic of the one captured by the Germans in Antartica that appeared in the Dust Comic Sourcebook.

Parente already stated they wont stay close to that look, he wants more pulp … that one up there reminds him far too much of the awesome Therians

Something like the kalamity model would sure be nice, I would imagine a more simpler look for mass production reasons  but on the table top they really offer some suitably different and extra terrestrial looking opponents. A joy to paint too!

While that might be a bit of an extreme aesthetic for FFG to use for the Vril (but no doubt a hilarious one), I hope that they do take queues from the old-school interpretation of Martians that was floating around in the 50s. I'm thinking smooth flying saucers, VK ray guns and perhaps some robots to do their bidding lest they tax their enfeebled grey bodies
