Umm.. nothing confusing. It's in the rules. Try to remember that FFG do not develop the rules for Tactics, Dust Games does. FFG does their best to resolve them via email (not always accurately), but ultimately it's on Dust Games to get them right.
And who does or not does misspints then?:D Why there is no reload action on the card if it needs to reload? Especially since Paolo's hvy panzer arty has NO special actions.

Sigh… Even though I've already done above, I will attempt to explain again. The rules for artillery require a reload. I am hypothesizing that since they require a reload now, as per page 14, there is no reason to notate that on the card since the revised core rules have been out (the previous artillery walkers came out per-revised). As far as Paolo's heavy, it's not an official model and probably never will be. Therefore he can do whatever he wants on that model. Therefore, no need for a fix and no typo.
The rules once say artillery needs to reload between shots and once say it doesn't need to so nothing is clear unless unit's card specifies if it does/doesn't.. Nikita's card says it doesn't need to.
I do not care what FFG intended to achieve - unless they put it in FAQ or release a new card Nikita DOESN'T need to reload between two shots.
All in this matter.

Quote me a page where it says it doesn't need to reload please?

Look at the units card please. See RELOAD? No? Now answer yourself :D
Ok, so you can't quote an actual rule then? Figured. My point stands, mostly because I use actual game rules to support my position.
Jesus, Allah and the Dark Powers! :D
Rule is rule but it doesn't apply to the Nikita cause Nikita's card doesn't physically show RELOAD!
Same like Steel Rain. So hard to understand that?
Ok, instead of going round and pointlessly, I have a message to Olivier Zamfirescu who is one of the lead designers at Dust Games. He said there did seem to be mix-up somewhere and he will investigate and get back to me. I'm fine with whichever way it goes, just will be nice to have a hopefully definitive answer.

And while you are at it, get him to post any cards before they go to the printers and let somebody proof read them.

Man as usual the rules are as clear as mud. This I can say without a shadow of a doubt, if Imade half the mistakes these guys do I would have been fired along time ago.
If whoever is responsible for publishing this stuff had half a brain. They would prepublish this stuff to us the players here on line. At least this way we could point these errors out for them. Not to mention the completely brain dead stuff.
Now here is a question I have always wondered about, but have been afraid to ask
.
On page 14 of the revised core rules it states, “After artillery weapons fire, the unit must reload before it can fire that weapon again. This costs one SKILL action.
Now on page 25 under INDIRECT SHOT. It states that, “I direct shots cost the unit both of its actions for the round.
So does this mean the unit may fire indirectly every other round?

Yes, you are correct. That's actually a pretty clear cut rule.
