I love your vehicles! They look great with very nice paint job and the dust figures and MG's really turn them into dust vehicles!

I'm painting a part of my Germans as Aufklärungs troops, so they would really like to have a half-track or armoured car to go with the theme!

What scale kits did you use? 1:48?

Thanks.  I used Italeri's 1/48 scale 234 Puma with an ICM 222 turret swap, Tamiya has it too.  Looking forward to seeing your work.

I dont want to steal "theguildllc's" thunder but for my pics the models are mostly 1/48 scale tamiya or italirea but the half track with turret was from WESPE models. For my conversion parts i order from Quarter Kit out of France. They have great stuff. Just thought i would share that.

Keep shareing, you're not stealing any thunder.  Open thread, come one come all, and post pics of your DT'ed/Vk'ed vvehicles.  Besides, now I have a new source of 1/48 to investigate!

Thanks pal. And yeah that Quarter Kit stuff is great. They can be a little slow to ship so it pays to send a reminder about your order to confirm shipping but otherwise they have been great. I usually get a little extra something cause i ordered so much over the years. They just have so much good stuff and so does the WESPE models site. Again its all euros so it can be pricey if ya go crazy like i have done in the past.

I'll see if my local hobby shop has any interesting 1/48 kits... after seeing how nicely the kits turn into Dust models, I just have to build some of my own!

Thanks for the inspiration! Keep the pics coming.

Hay guildman,

I just got my Puma 2cm Flack38 and 75mm conversion kits in from Quarter-Kit as well as a 28mm cannon for my SDKFZ 250/11 half track. Now im waiting on my pumas and halftrack to arrive. I have been getting kits from Hobby Linc and Scale Hobbyist for reasonable prices for italera and tamiya kits. As soon I can build something ill post it.

There are a couple of Tamiya kits that should work very well for Dust Tactics, the Dornier 335 (sets #61074 and #61076) and the Heinkel 162 (set #61097).

Here is a scout car I just finished. I managed to get three minis in it. The driver is hard to see but he is in there:

Sweet!  The commander is from Dust-models.com.  He is the Panzermeister model.  The turret is from Quarterkit, out there in France.  Thanks for clueing me on to that sight.

I was about to post and ask how 1/48 tanks fit in to the Dust Tactics squares, but this pic has answered my question ;)

Just about by the looks of the pic ?

Something like a 1/48 Universal Carrier would open up lots of new rule options for example

I can squeeze it into one tile but it fits 'naturaly' into two.  There are pretty good rules and cards for reg WWII stuff on the Dust:TheWarContinues blog, check it out.
