Hey guys, I got a copy of this game from the cool people at Fantasy Flight at Toy Fair 2012. I did a review of it originally, but this time around we play throguh a full mission with a full team. Our group plays at least once a week and are knowledgeable on the game. Check it out!

In the rulebook, P.17:
"If a triggered ability deals wounds to the target, this is added to any wounds rolled on the dice (and can be canceled by shields rolled on defense dice)."
So the wounds dealt by rolling Omens are not automatic wounds, but can be canceled by shields rolled.
