Alliances with the xenos?

I have been wondering how the alliances between humans and xenos work out in the FFG 40k RPG's. All insight, points of views(heretics, inquisitor acolytes, rogue traders etc.) and aspects are welcome. How have you handled this? Have you as a gm pulled something out?

Thanks in advance :)

I guess nobody uses xenos in their games.

I used a forward scout for the Chaos armies to make contact between a Rogue Trader PC and the Saruthi via a Tetrascape webway thing in a cavern on Tanith (shortly before its' destruction).

She's known to them, knows about them, but lacks an effective line of communication and can't get to them the same way, taking them off the board until I decide otherwise.

I intend to make my first rager character know some Orks. Don't know how, but yeah. That's happening.

I assume that at first you were talking about some sort of eldar?

 Nah. Ex-Imperial Guard.
