Are there any differences between the CCG and LCG in terms of cards and legality in tournaments/events/games etc?

Old CCG cards are not legal to play in LCG events unless that card has been reprinted exactly in the new format.
There is a tournament format that used the old cards, called Legacy, but it has different deckbuilding restrictions and is not used for "official" events.
