Advice for GM a 3 man team with Lib, Tech, and Apoth

Im GMing a Deathwatch weekly session for 3 of my friends. They picked a Libarian, Tech-Marine, and Apothacary.

Im sure that the Lib, and the Tech will have fun with the characters, and will have lots of chances to show how bad ass the characters are, but Im concerned about making it fun for the apothacary.

Short of inflicting heavy wounds, what other ways can I come up with to let the apothacary shine, and give him a more to do than just heal, and fight some?

Apothecary's can be inducted into the deathwatch not just for their healing skills but also their ability to investigate and advise on Alien biology.  in the right circumstances they can also interrogate enemies the Kill team comes up against.

Incidentally with such a specialised Kill team I think the mission itself should reflect that fact.  Perhaps team them up with an Inquisitor who has storm troopers to do the general line fighting stuff but needs a very specialised kill team to take on Something nasty.  One thing I can think of would be a mission where the Kill team need to extract the Princeps from a Warhound Titan that has been infected with somekind of Xenos Machine Virus.

such a mission could potentially need those three speciaities.

Agreed, that's quite the think tank Of Action! Craft a suitably obscure mystery for them to solve, such as "How do Ethereals work?" or "What's the best way to make a Hive Fleet consume itself?" and let them at it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I really hadn't thought about the apoth being a psuedo science officer, but that really does make sense. Also Just the idea of having them dig into and investigate alien biology is something I hadnt thought about but would definately make sense for this team.

Thanks
